How you will contribute to our magical experience?: 

We're in search of a highly motivated and analytical Senior Business Analytics Analyst to join our expanding Data & Analytics team. As the data focal point for the New Advertising Business in Disney+ LATAM, you'll play a pivotal role in converting raw data into actionable insights that steer strategic decision-making throughout the organization. Collaborating with diverse departments, you'll discern their data requirements, craft and implement Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, and effectively communicate complex data through clear and concise reports and visualizations.

The Sr Business Analytics Analyst will be responsible for: 

  • Spearhead data-driven analyses aimed at enhancing the performance of the Streaming Advertising business and challenging the status quo.
  • Collaborate closely with Advertising Sales, Business Development, Operations, and Marketing teams, providing ongoing support for informed decision-making.
  • Continuously measure performance and deliver regular reports on business outcomes, translating the most relevant KPIs into actionable insights and key initiatives to drive efficiency improvements.
  • Take the lead on high-impact projects within our streaming business, working autonomously and taking ownership, in collaboration with Advertising Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Finance teams.
  • Drive the development of new Data Models tailored for the regional Streaming Advertising Business.
  • Collect, refine, and integrate data from diverse sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Design and deploy BI solutions, such as reports and dashboards, leveraging industry-standard BI tools and technologies.
  • Effectively communicate complex data findings through clear, concise, and visually compelling presentations.
     

What we need from you to be part of this story:

  •  Required Tenure: 3 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role.
  • Preferred Industries: Media, Tech, Consulting Gaming, or other Digital businesses.
  • Minimum: Degree on Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Marketing or related fields and an active participation on Data Analytics / Data Science courses.
  • Ideal: Post-graduate in Management/Business Analytics.
  • Advanced level of English both oral and written.
  • Proven experience in working with relational databases, data warehousing, and data visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Looker). Python/R knowledge is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel, Powerpoint) or Google Suite (GDocs, GSheets, GSlides).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • leadership and coaching skills are desirable.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced, deadline driven environment and well-developed interpersonal skills – ability to build relationships and interact with executives.
